It was the Third of Activity Week and I was excited. I was told that it was gonna be long. When we arrived at Britomart it was crowded with a lot business people crowding the entrance. 

While we raced across the road to the get to the Fairy I realised that I forgot my blue Reliever, I then started to walk slow and walk calm. When we took a Seat I got scared that if I walk or run to much I would have a Asthma Attack, So I walk nice and slow.

When we hopped on the Fairy it took a few minutes to take off. At first I started to get a headache, but it took few minutes to clear. When we Arrived the ground was very rocky. St Peters colleges as well. While we were walking I could feel that I was going to slow the rest of the school down. 

As we kept going it started to get stepper and stepper and I could hardly Breathe. I got told to stay and wait for the people behind as I waited I could hear a lot different birds sounds that I've never heard. 

When They reached up to me I felt fit so we ran up and until we reached the top it was a long way up but it was a faster way down it was really fun.

Yes Finally it happening I said excitedly to myself, It was first time going to activity week and I was Excited, A lot of students were very happy they could hardly stop talking. As we Arrived at Orakei basin I could see the Kayak instructors unpacking the kayaks. 

My first activity was to walk around Orakei basin. By the time I got to the steps I could see half-way that students were puffing out including me. I was a long way but eventually we got to the end. Once we reached our destination everyone was puffed and could hardly move.

As we waited and waited for the Year 7 Students to come out we had a talk about next years leaders. But when they came out we all jump and celebrated like we won the lotto. When we got there we had to do some instructions for the Kayaks. 

When we hopped in the kayaks a lot of students fell out, I started laughing my head off. As the day went on I started to become a natural and everyone was jealous. When we came out It was freezing. It was so cold I started shivering like a Chihuahua. I had a lot of fun and I wish to do it again some time soon.

Manaiakalani Movies

Ring Ring went the bell, everyone rushed out of the courts to line up. Everyone was excited including me. As we were flooding into the bus, the bus started to get crowded and their was no where to sit only to stand. All you could here was kids talking about Sylvia park and how cool it was.

Once we arrived everyone was itching to get out of the bus. We saw lots of schools crowding in to the entrance. The cinema was pack and dark we could hardly see our seats. “Wow that was awesome”I said to myself, everyone was laughing like their was no tomorrow. My favourite was friends that was so funny.

All the Video were a huge success and amusing at the same time. Everyone including me was having a excellent and amusing. Those movies were so funny the whole cinema was laughing I had a wonderful time at Hoyt's Cinemas Manaiakalani Movies.

Writing

Hold on son we are almost their, yelled out Peytons Dad, as he ask him for the tenth time. Peyton, his older Darren and their father, went on a father and sons day out to get away from the girls. They all went for a tramp in the woods. They were all having a good time playing walking and teasing.

Everthing was fine until they reached a fork they were confused and didn’t know what path to take. Peyton started to get worried he didn’t see anyone around. The Dad then stood up and agreed on Peyton and Darren sticking together. As he left Peyton started to get shaky and cold Darren then rapped his arms around Peyton and convinced him that their father would come back.

While it got darker and darker Darren then started to get worried, he then started shaking. Every things going to be alright he said everythings going to be alright. Then Darren popped up lifted Peyton up and walking along.

He almost stumbled up the first hill but he hung on. As they kept walking Darrens eyes could hardly open but when he finally open his eyes wide he just saw a light. He quickly limpt towards the light feeling like he won a medal. Once he reached the light he didn't see his dad. So Darren asked a stranger to keep an eye on Peyton

Once it reached dusk he could hardly see the path but he just kept go. Once he reached the beginning of the fork he looked for the one that his dad went through but he could hardly see the four paths. When he saw the path his dad went on he quickly ran down it like it was his school athletics. Soon he reached the end of the path saw his father on the ground shaking.

Darren tried his hardest to pull him up to his shoulders, he tried everything but he was just not strong enough. As Peyton woke up from his little rest he thought he would have woke up with Darren and there Dad but no it was couple of strangers. He was to death he didn't know what was going on but he just went with it.

It was almost morning and they still didn't come out he started to get scared, “what's going to happen to them” he thought to himself. Once he gave up hope on them, Peyton suddenly heard a cough from the forest “yessss” he said joyfully. As they got their dad back to their house everything went back to normal.

Testing Week

Friday 8  November 2013
This Week Me and Room 7 have had there testing week. It was a bit challenging then I thought it was very hard. On Monday we had our Star Test which I think I did a little good, On Tuesday we had Maths Which was I think was a good test, On Thursday we had Reading which was also good, Today(Friday)Writing Which I think I did good but not good enough and we also had spelling test which I did good in.

It was a excellent testing week we all were pushed to the limits.

Also, the British Navy controlled Matla, Alexandria, and Gibraltar, and the Italian Navy was under direct orders from Mussolini not to look for fight the British Navy
2. Benito Mussolini and the Fascist Party ruled Italy since 1922. The Italian King Victor Emmanuel II remained as a firgurehead, much like Hirohito in Japan.
3.  Italy formed an alliance with Nazi Germany before the war, and they were later joined by Japan.
4.Italy invaded Greece from puppet state of Albania in 1941. The invasion faltered, and Germany invaded Greece through Yugoslavia to help Italy. Later, Italian and German forces fought in Yugoslavia and Russia, and German forces were sent to help Italy in North Africa and the Mediterranean.

Cross Country

Report Writing - Cross Country

At St Pius x Catholic school they had their Cross Country. All the children of St Pius were all gathered in the tennis court. Cross Country is a School event where children runs along way to come 1,2,3,4,5. All the children were seated in their own age groups.

Those kids were as they zoomed past the finish line, All the Kids were huffing and puffing once they ran up the driveway. As they marked their scores and places they walked back to the courts with heads and water dripping down from their faces.

Influential,Role model Person- Darren Lockyer

Influential,Role model Person- Darren Lockyer

He is a really helpful and competitive person, he does not have a full set of hair, his skin colours is fair. He has a medium build and is quite tall, He also has dark brown as his eye colour.

He helps take care of a lot of team in Nrl (National Rugby League). He is quite the player, He plays for and captains for Brisbane Broncos, Australia league team and all star team. But he is now retired and is now a commentator.

Darren Lockyer Is a very active person he’s always wanting to play and help. He would always want to help people when they are in need. He is a very good player he has made 355 appearances on rugby league 36 for queensland and 59 for australia.

Tennis

Bounce! Bounce! Bounce ! went the ball. Once the bell rang, ZOOM!!! went Room 7 to the tennis court. Marcel, the instructor gave us instructions.

Once he gave us the instruction we all raced to grab a racket and a ball. We were divided into boys and girls to learn some tips.

So Marcel the ‘Instructor put us into groups of four and gave us instructions. So Room 7 RACED!!! past the nets like cheetahs Roaring. Me on the other side had the best time playing tennis.

I have fair skin ,I have green hazelish eye colour,blueish outline of my eyes. I have light brown hair.  I am fairly short.  I have freckles on my nose.  I am not that tall but I am thin ,slim and straight, I also have thin eyebrows. Normally I confident in myself but mostly I am more shy, I am calm and sometimes angry.

I am Friendly because I help people that are lonely and when they are sad.  I am also amusing because I like making people laugh and make them feel better when they feel down.  I am an easygoing person because I never start trouble and I always ignore people if they try pick a fight with me or try to tease me.Sometimes I am a gentle person because I am always calm and never angry.

 I am careful for I look after my things properly and when I am told to look after something.  I am a bright person because I always think positively and serious about school and work.  

The Summer Camp

THE SUMMER CAMP

Today was my first day at summer camp!!. I had to wake up to a very early day birds tweeting and dogs barking.  Dad told me to wash my face and brush my teeth, and have breakfast.

Once I finished Eating Dad dropped me off at the park while I was there I met the instructor. Her name was Jamie. There were nine other people in my group. I was put into group 5.

The first thing that we did was go on a nature hike. The hike was soooo long my legs felt wobelly I almost fell off the cliff which was heart beating. We walked through the entire park. It was hot and I got a lot of bug bites.

throughout the walk I saw two squirrels and a rabbit.  I was afraid that I was going to see a snake. After the hike we arrived back to the main point of the walk, I saw my dad waiting for me in the car. Once we were dismissed I ran to the car and said,I had a lot of fun today dad,

Whisper

Isaiah One dark and stormy night me and my cousin were watching scary movies. "What one should we watch next" I yelled, The Cabin In the woods he replied. So I popped in the cupbourd and looked for it, At the same time I heard a whisper say Isaiah. So I popped up looked around and no one was there so I popped back down. Immediately I saw Cabin in the woods from this exact point of angle, So I grabbed it shoved it in the dvd player. Once the movie started I could hear my cousin starting to laugh, That was weird I thought to myself. While the movie kept on playing I heard the whisper again,Isaiah,then I leaned back to see if anyone was in the hallway, but no one was there. So I went back down and watched. Then my cousin started to laugh again haha. "Why are you laughing" I snapped, nothing he replied. So while we carried on with the movie I heard it again Isaiah, I started to get scared, "can you hear it cousin" I whispered. "It's just your imagination" he replied just watch the movie. He had a grin on his face while he was saying so I sat back down. While I was Watching I could see some one pop there heads outside the window who looked familiar. So I went outside to check, who's there who's there I repeated. Then I got out a light and flashed it at it and saw that it was my brother. What are you doing outside shouldn't you be inside with me and Anthony. Yeah I don't now how I got outside he replied with hesitation. Why are you hesatating to say that I snapped, nothing he replied. I started to ask him why were you outside WHY!!!. Isaiah Once he got anoyed of me asking about it he then started to tell me. You no the whisper's that you got scared of ,yeah it was me, Then I started to get angry and punch him why did you do that I almost went toilet in my pants. I cant beleive this I screamed why man why. But please next time please don't do it He then whispered sorry for my misdoing and I promise not to do it any more.

Report Writing:Bully no more Bully no more a is a play that goes around schools in Australia and New Zealand.Bully No More is a troubled friendship between two students at primary school. Eric can’t understand why he is always being picked on by Becksy at lunch time. He confides in his good friend Ralph who gives him a few home truths and some great advice. He sets out to discover why Becksy treats him the way she does. When Eric begins to understand what is making Becksy feel the way she does he discovers that he and his best friend Ralph can help her through teamwork support and friendship. They discover they can be friends after all. The play acts out what bullying is physical, verbal and visual. and It offers positive strategies that gets students/children to deal with bullying.

Blood Brothers

The lights went down and the show started.
Earlier...

On Thursday 29th of March while the year eights went on retreat. The year sevens were at the Blood Brothers at selwyn college. We went with two adults. Once we got there we had to wait under the shade wait until the show started. We were waiting and waiting until a lady came and said if you would like a card that would show about the story.

Catherine started reading. Then Sione Dale blocked his ears and did not want to hear a thing because he wanted to watch it himself. Once we got told by a teacher from selwyn college to go in the theatre we raced quickly in their theatre and waited for it to start.

Once it started the lights went down. Then I saw people just lining up staring at us. Then the lights turned on and everyone on the chairs was frightened. The actors started singing and singing until they stopped and started acting.

It tells about Mrs Johnston having two twin babies then Mrs Lyons wanted a baby so bad she wanted to lie to her husband. Then Mrs Lyons started begging to buy a baby from Mrs Johnston. Mrs Johnston was thinking and thinking until she had an answer. So they started singing a song about feeding and looking after him.

Then it went to different scene. Then it showed the nurses and the doctors bringing her two twin. Then Mrs Lyons walked by and saw that the babies were already out of the hospital. Then she reminded Mrs Johnston if she could take she said NO with rage but mrs Lyons reminded her if she lied she would have to go to hell because she already swear on the bible. So she gave one baby to mrs Lyons. But Mrs Johnston did not want to look so she looked away.

After that people started forming a line across the stage again and started singing their lungs out. After that they went backstage and let the others act. When it was coming to the end they all it got very sad and emotional because the two blood brothers died. Mickey got very angry when he saw Eddie kissing Linda when Mickey and Linda was already married. So he started chasing him around the whole theatre. When we were concentrating on the stage Mickey just popped out of the corner and shouted when he saw Eddie on the stage he raced on stage to shoot him, but the police came the and shoot then both mothers came up and started crying. T3ylamona Crying his heart out (that means he felt touched).

Isaiah Opening Mass

Last Friday St Pius X Catholic School had their first Opening Mass for the year . It was a very special mass. The teachers were blessed by Father Iosefa and the students after Holy Communion. We all stood up and walked to the altar and got our bread and wine. The first reading got my attention because I heard two new words 'Loaf and Burden'.

If you don’t know the meaning of the word ‘loaf’ it means fooling around. Burden means a pain and problem.

Going to Dingle Dell

Monday what a good way to start a week. It was a sunny as a the sun. While we were stool at school we had a chance to get ready for our big day we went to Dingle Dell were all things that are green. It was blazing hot on that walk and we all had to take of our jumpers. While we were still walking when we were walking past some houses. It seemed that they were the richest houses in the WORLD. They were all two story houses. They all each a had a cool car with it. When we got there with room 7,6 and 5 we all sat down on the grass. We all saw that there were people walking through the path of Dingle Dell. So we all got to told to go stairs so we all went with a partner.


Mr Hooker was the leader so he showed us were to go to , turn , left of right he said ‘ right ‘ so we all followed at the back of Mr Hooker and while we were walking we saw a tree called a Willow's from England. Some ferns and allot of Korus they are the Forbidden in this country but sense only the willow’s from England. So we kept on going and we found the place we all went to sit down. From the painful rocky dirty path. We all had lunch with each other some had lots of food and some had a little we were bored so we started to play touch and king ball. BOOM some one got hit in the head.


We were so sorry we went to play king ball. I dodged It. I nearly got out then we all got crazy. Then I Won. They thought that I got out so we all went back into our line , It was time for us to get home. Oh i mean school. We were all going to feel sad. Then we got told we had to go. The toilet before going. So that we started take and go back. We took the long way the it was to long I nearly fainted so we were nearby and I just fell so we went entrance and then. I just had the longest walk of my life so we got to school and did what ever.
